Tours!
Every week, something magical happens at the brewery… We invite you to join us for a beer and meander about the facility. How do you get in on this awesomeness? You just show up. We offer tours on Fridays at 4:30 and 6pm and Saturdays at 11, 12:30, and 2pm. On Wednesdays, we offer tastings from 5-7pm.

When are your tours?
Glossing over the fact that you totally just skipped the first paragraph, we offer tours on Fridays at 4:30 and 6pm and Saturdays at 11, 12:30 and 2pm.
How does the tour work?
Show up 15 minutes before the start of the tour for check-in. There you receive your tasting glass and tasting tokens. We give you time to have at least one sample before the tour starts. Once the tour has started, you are permitted to leave the tour to retrieve additional samples (empty glasses piss off the brewery ghosts). When the tour concludes, visitors are permitted to mill about the gift shop and use up the rest of the sample tokens. Last call is 15 minutes before the start of the next tour. When you are finished sampling, you trade your tasting glass in for your souvenir glass.
What is the cost for your tours?
Our tours cost $5 per person. That includes five beer samples, the tour, and a souvenir glass to take home.
Do you require reservations?
We do not require reservations. You can show up at any of our regularly scheduled tours.
When do you offer tastings?
We offer tastings as a part of the tour (Fridays at 4:30 and 6pm and Saturdays at 11, 12:30 and 2pm) and Wednesdays from 5-7pm.
How long does the tour last?
The tour lasts 30-45 minutes, depending on which tour guide is leading the tour.
Are children permitted?
Since we also manufacture Root Beer, Creamy Orange, Black Cherry, and Ginger Ale, children are permitted in the tasting room.
Do you fill growlers?
We do not fill growlers at this point in time.
Can I buy beer from the gift shop?
We do not sell beer in our gift shop. We do, however, sell soda.
Do you host private parties/tours?
We do. We allow private bookings during non-tour hours. Email LBigelow@coastalbrewingcompany.com for more details.

Is there anything else I should know?
- Close-toed shoes must be worn inside the facility.
- No touching buttons or pulling levers.
- No Laverne and Shirley or drunk cow jokes.
- This is our house. Please respect it.
- No autographs until after the tours.

There are nice hotels. We recommend Dover Downs. They have great accommodations and an even better staff.
We are about half an hour from the Lewes Ferry.

We post the schedule month-by-month. Generally, we have tours Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Approximately how long is the tour? How much walking is included? My boyfriend has a sprained ankle & can only stand for a short period of time.
