DOMINION ALE
Dominion Ale is brewed in an English style with American Two-Row Pale, Caramel, & Black malts. This is our best selling draught beer and overall our largest volume beer. We use Perle, Williamette, & Mt. Hood hops from the Pacific Northwest and English Kent Golding hops. We ferment our ale with a traditional American ale yeast in the German Kolsch style - warm, fast fermentation followed by a slow maturation. Dominion Ale is malty with an assertive hop character dominated by the aromatic Kent Golding. Widely available in bottles and draught. ABV : 4.7%
OAK BARREL STOUT
Oak Barrel Stout is our Dominion Stout that has been conditioned in oak bourbon barrels. In this form it is available on on draught at our Brewpub. In 2003 we produced a reformulated version to provide us the ability to package the beer for wider distribution. The Oak Barrel Stout is a delicious blend of heavy roasted malt flavor and sweet bourbon flavor with an overlay of vanilla. A very complex beer. Lew Bryson named Oak Barrel Stout the best new beer of 2003. Available in bottle and on slow pour draught. ABV: 5.2%
DOMINION PALE ALE
This rich, red ale is made in the American Pale Ale style. It has strong hop character, meium body, a dry finish, and a floral hop aroma. We use Two-Row Brewer's malt, Caramel 80 and 40 lovibond malt, and Munich malt. For bittering and aroma, Williamette, Cascade, and Tettnang hops are used in the kettle and as dry hopping in the fermenter. Available in bottles and on draught. ABV : 5.6%
MILLENNIUM ALE
On December 23, 1993, we brewed our 1000th batch of beer. To commemorate this milestone, we produced Dominion Millennium. The beer was a huge success when we introduced it in February 1994, and it was sold out within a month. Millennium is a very strong ale brewed in the English Barleywine style. Sometimes called "the sherry of the beer world", barleywine is best enjoyed at cellar temperatures and should be enjoyed in moderation, as it contains twice the alcohol of regular beers. The bottle contains a slight sediment because some fermentation occurs in the bottle. This bottle conditioning allows the beer to improve with age. We use only imported English malt and pure Virginia honey. The distinct hopping includes Mount Hood, Perle, and Liberty hops in the kettle. The beer is generously dry-hopped with English Kent Golding to provide an earthy bouquet. We produce only a single batch per year, usually released in mid-February. Available in bottle and draught. ABV: 10.4%
GREAT AMERICAN PALE ALE
This beer is brewed exclusively for the restaurants owned by Great American Restaurants - Carlyle Grand Cafe, Artie's, Mike's American Grill, Silverado, Coastal Flats, and Sweetwater Tavern. The recipe and techniques were developed by Nick Funnell, brewmaster at Sweetwater Tavern. The beer is made with Two-Row malt, Munich 10, Caramel 60, and a small amount of chocolate malt. Domestic Golding and Galena hops are used in the kettle. It is then dry hopped in a second fermenter with whole leaf English Kent Golding and Cascade hops. This fine pale ale is a deep amber color with a wonderful blend of the earthy Golding and the citric accentuated Cascade hops for a complex aromatic treat. Available on draught at the Great American Restaurants and our Brewpub. ABV : 5.2%

to be distributed and marketed along the east coast of the U.S.
